I tried the 8.5 at your recommendation, but it was very oversized. The 8 really pinches my big toe. Too bad, beautiful shoes

The look of these shoes IRL is gorgeous. Sadly, the comfort doesn’t really measure up. I read reviews that these ran large, and since I’m generally a 10.5 with narrow feet, I thought sizing down would be a good idea to start. I’m not even sure that a 10.5 in this shoe would have been large enough, so I’d say at the upper end of the size spectrum, these may run a half size smaller. That to the side, the overall construction is stiff and uncomfortable, with hard insoles, and rigid leather. Even in my size, I could tell this would be a very uncomfortable shoe. I also ordered the Sofft Prewitt, which has a similar look (although, not the cute higher heel, but nobody’s perfect!) and the Sofft outperformed the Dolce Vita in the comfort department (and their size 10 did fit me, see that review.) I’m generally a HUGE fan of Dolce Vita, so the lack of quality/comfort on this shoe was a real disappointment. Sadly, it’s getting returned.
